FAQ

Q. What is the difference between converting PDF to JPG and extracting images?

Converting to JPG renders the entire page design as a single image. Extracting images isolates only the raw graphic assets (such as photos or logos) embedded inside the document and leaves out the text or layouts.

Q. What file formats will the extracted images be saved in?

Images are extracted in their original embedded formats (usually JPG or PNG) without any modification, and packaged together inside a single ZIP archive.

Q. What happens if I upload a PDF that contains no images?

If no image objects are found in the PDF structure, the process will display a message indicating that no images were found. Make sure to upload a document containing graphics.

Q. Will the extracted images lose their original quality or resolution?

No. We extract the binary image streams directly without re-compression or resizing, preserving 100% of the original quality and resolution.

Q. Is there any risk of my documents or images leaking?

None. Stamping processes occur entirely via client-side JavaScript. No documents or uploaded assets ever leave your browser or get saved on our servers.

Q. Can I extract images from a password-secured PDF?

No. Secured files cannot be parsed directly. Please use our Unlock tool to strip security first, then upload.

Q. Does this tool work on mobile devices?

Yes. Our responsive layouts work perfectly on mobile platforms including iOS Safari, Chrome on Android, and iPadOS.

Q. Is there an account requirement or charge?

No. The platform requires no registration, signup, or subscriptions, and it is 100% free.

Q. What is the maximum file size limit?

The maximum allowable PDF file size is 100MB.

Q. Will my original file be modified or overwritten?

No. The uploaded file is read-only. The platform processes the files in memory and downloads the ZIP package, preserving your original document.
